We’re Heather & Heidi- Twin sisters, yarn lovers, color enthusiasts, and the women behind Drunken Sheep Yarn Co.

What started as a little kitchen experiment in South Louisiana has turned into something we couldn’t stop. And honestly? We didn’t want to.

We love color. We love fiber. We love creating things together.

Heather brings her eye for color, her love of knitting and fiber, and her business experience.

Heidi brings more than 12 years of experience as a knitter, crocheter, yarn-shop employee, and instructor.

Together, we make the yarn we want to knit and crochet with- beautiful, vibrant, sometimes unexpected, and always created with a whole lot of JOY.

Every skein is dyed by hand in small batches in Abita Springs, Louisiana.

AND WE DON’T REALLY DO BORING.

Our colorways are inspired by the things we love, the places we live, the food we eat, and the ridiculous things that make us laugh.
